1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CaltransBizConnect ("the platform"), you agree to these terms and all applicable California state laws and regulations. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Purpose of the Platform

CaltransBizConnect is a supportive services and connection portal operated by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). Its purpose is to:

• Help small businesses access training, technical assistance, and resource navigation
• Connect small businesses with prime contractor opportunities
• Provide information about Caltrans contracting programs

This platform is not the official source for Caltrans contract solicitations. Official bid advertisements are published on the Caltrans Contracting Portal (CCOP) (opens in new window)↗.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and truthful information during registration and in your profile
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at smallbusinesses@dot.ca.gov

Caltrans reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that contain inaccurate information.

4. Uploaded Content

By uploading documents such as capability statements to this platform, you certify that you have the right to share that content and that it does not contain false, misleading, or prohibited information. Caltrans does not claim ownership of your uploaded content but may use it to facilitate platform services.

5. Limitation of Liability

CaltransBizConnect is provided on an "as is" basis. Caltrans makes no warranties regarding uninterrupted access, data accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Caltrans is not liable for any losses resulting from use of or inability to access the platform.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes shall be resolved in accordance with California state law and applicable federal regulations.
